NAMI on Campus CSUS and NAMI Sacramento are partnering to provide a town hall discussion on Suicide Prevention. Our town hall will address how to handle the challenges of living with - and loving someone - with mental health conditions. With this town hall we specifically want to address suicidal ideation with regards to how to reach out for help and what to do if someone asks you for help.
Our panelists and speakers will share their lived experience with this topic, opening up their lives in order to help people who experience thoughts and actions surrounding suicide. This is part of our goal to normalize the discussions around mental illness and suicide so people feel comfortable with accessing support and information in their efforts to address their health and live well.
